Social media has become a major communication vehicle and an important aspect of our personal and professional lives.  Employees may tweet, post, or otherwise communicate through social media about their employers.  Employees often feel that they have rights to communicate this under the First Amendment.  What rights and expectations should employers have for monitoring their employees' social media use?

This session will explore monitoring and privacy expectations held by employers and employees and what the law has to say about it.

This class is offered individually and as part of the Social Media "Friends" the Workplace:  Workshop Series.  If you wish to register for this individual session, please click register below.  If you would like to register for the entire series of five programs, click "Social Media "Friends" the Workplace:  Workshop Series" at the right.
