Effective Verbal Communication II: Using Voice and Non-Verbals

The human body is the instrument of verbal communication, with 805 of each message being delivered through non-verbal cues.  This program identifies participant's current vocal and physical presentation and will help individuals make adjustments to, and take advantage of, their individual patterns of behaviors.

  • Business leaders and owners
  • Anyone who needs to make presentations or speak to large or small groups

Workshop is limited to 12 participants per session.  NOTE:  Please wear comfortable clothing appropriate for movement.

Learning Objectives

  • Understand vocal quality -- diction, modulation, volume, pace and pitch
  • Develop vocal capacity -- exercises and warm-ups that help the speaking voice
  • How to use stance, body language and physical postures
  • Utilize tips for speaking in public -- do's and don'ts that help the voice and overall presentation
