Those who've obtained the SPHR certification are required to earn 15 hours of strategic management credit to recertify their designation.  Trusight has created a program that meets the strategic management requirement for recertification through two days of classroom training and 3 hours of pre-recorded e-learning programs.

Developing a thorough understanding of the responsibilities and thought processes behind how business works allows human resources to make greater contributions to organizational success.  This series of topics includes classroom instruction as well as e-learning designed to enhance your level of knowledge and ability to play a strategic role within your company. 

Program content

CLASSROOM COURSEWORK
Day 1:  9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Authentic Leadership
The dynamic challenges of our ever-changing world requires that leaders not only appropriately manage the resources under their control, but also inspire those they lead and work to improve the lives of their employees, customers and other stakeholders.  Authentic leaders focus on more than just the bottom line, and yet by being stewards of the resources placed in their hands, authentic leaders are able to realize significantly positive results for their organization.  this program will explore the principles and practices of authentic leadership.

 

Day 2:  9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Business Acumen
To be effective contributors to an organization, it is important to have a general understanding of standard business practices and operations.  This session will cover a broad range of standard business operations such as accounting, finance, marketing, sales, operations and research & development.

Lunch is provided both days.  Each day equals 6 hours of recertification credit.

The following web-based programs are included as part of this course.  Each online program is one hour in length and includes an assessment upon completion.  Your login, logoff, and participation in each program is monitored within our Learning Management System.

Your registration in this course includes the three, one-hour e-learning programs.  You will be sent an email with access information.  Upon successful completion of the two days of classroom coursework and the three e-learning programs, you will be sent a certificate of completion with the HRCI Program ID code for 15 strategic credit hours.
