After the written affirmative action plan is completed for your organization, there are multiple compliance activities that you must undertake, ranging from the complex to the very simple. This class identifies each element of a compliant affirmative action program, particularly those that are not necessarily described in the written affirmative action plan itself.
We'll review what to expect in a government audit, as well as strategies for presenting your data in an audit.
Beyond basic legal compliance activities, participants will review best practices and learn how an effective affirmative action program can make a difference to the organization's bottom line.
Exercises and group discussion are included in key areas, including the definition of applicants, adverse impact analysis, and compensation analysis. Handouts include sample correspondence, checklists, forms, key portions of the regulations and guidance from the OFCCP.
Suggested prerequisities: Attendance at "How to Write an Affirmative Action Plan", or experience with, and an understanding of, written plan preparation.
