Jan is a human resources consultant in the Employment Law Group and a member of Trusight’s creativity and innovation initiative teams. She provides compliance-focused expertise and coaching services for federal, state, and local affirmative action plan development, implementation, and compliance review guidance. She also offers AA training for business leaders, managers and supervisors. Her vision was instrumental in developing Trusight’s web-based HR Toolkit resources and the HR QUIKcheck tool which she continues to be actively involved in the product advancements.
Jan provides immigration-related compliance checks, including internal audits of existing I-9s and customized I-9 refresher training programs on I-9 completion. She also delivers general HR practice consulting and support that includes: auditing HR practices for compliance, coaching clients through all aspects of job loss and career transitioning, and conducting employee opinion surveys and feedback groups.
Prior to joining Trusight, Jan worked as an employee relations manager for a large, multi-process, manufacturing facility which gave her a greater understanding of what clients are experiencing and therefore can better support them through high-level decisions related to strategic business initiatives or taking ideas and turning them into practical, workable solutions.
